A brand new essential oil combo with powerful characteristics

OREGANIC PLUS MASTIC comes in soft capsules containing a combination of suitable doses of organic essential oil from select, biologically certified Greek oregano [origanum vulgare spp hirtum] and essential oil from select Greek mastic [Pistacia lentiscus var. Chia] in organic extra virgin Greek olive oil. This combination is an innovation.

The essential oil of Greek oregano is extracted solely through steaming, without chemical solvents. It is certified organic by a certification body recognized by the European Union.

OREGANIC PLUS MASTIC is a magnificent natural supplement, and it can help your organism function better on all levels.

The revolutionary synergy

Organic Greek oregano essential oil has an exceptionally high carvacrol content (above 80%), while its percentage in thymol is low (below 3,5%), making the proportion of phenol ingredients (carvacrol and thymol) both safe and effective.

Carvacrol is the main component that plays the most significant role in oregano oils’ action. According to an article published in the US National Library of Medicine:

“Carvacrol (CAR), a natural monoterpene particularly abundant in plants… has recently attracted much attention for its many biological properties (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, antitumor, antibacterial, and several others)”

On the other hand, the essential oil of Greek mastic contains high percentages in the acid fraction components, making it of exceptional quality and effectiveness.

Chios Mastic gum is recognized for its precious properties from European Medicines Agency, and recent studies open the horizon of this “health gold” as is pointed in the US National Library of Medicine’s article “Chios mastic gum inhibits influenza A virus replication and viral pathogenicity”:

“Chios mastic gum (CMG), a resin of the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus var. chia), has been used to treat multiple disorders caused by gastrointestinal malfunctions and bacterial infections for more than 2500 years. However, little is known about CMG’s antiviral activity”.

Oregano and Mastic Oil’s interaction gives a unique flourish to their particular properties, a kind of multiplication of their benefits (1+1>2). And the blister package with separated capsules offers comfort and hygiene that jars and bottles can’t provide.

Details for usage and precautions

OREGANIC PLUS MASTIC is a magnificent natural supplement, and its use daily offers antioxidant protection and a constant boost to your immune system. It helps digestion and strengthens your digestive system.

One soft gel per day after the meal is a good habit for regular days. You may increase up to 3 softgels (one on breakfast, one on lunch, and one on dinner) if there are symptoms of getting cold and only for 1-3 days.

Furthermore, if you can stand the causticity on the mouth, you may improve your oral hygiene by breaking the capsule, rinsing with water, gargling, and swallowing. The intense taste lasts only for a few minutes.

OREGANIC PLUS MASTIC is especially useful:

  1. During periods of increased risk of infections and germs (autumn, winter, spring), of low temperatures and high humidity.
  2. In areas where the risk of fungal and viral infections is high, for people frequenting crowded places (gyms, pools, beaches, and others) or with increased infection risk (schools, hospitals, and others).

Caution: Oregano essential oil is caustic, and therefore the capsules are for swallowing with the help of a glass of water.

Taking OREGANIC PLUS MASTIC should be avoided:

  1. If you are allergic to oregano (Labiates plants) or mastic.
  2. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

People with low levels of iron in their blood are advised to take it for a long time, after informing a doctor, and only 2 hours before or 2 hours after meals.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Oreganic Plus Mastic is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

These capsules are small, perfectly round orbs of golden goodness. I've purchased oregano oil gelcaps many times before because oregano oil is a very powerful anti-viral and is good for general health. I've used mastic gum in the past when I had some digestive disorders but I don't recall if it helped or not. When these capsules came up on my list of items I could review I instantly selected it and am glad I did. I think they are very good quality, come very well packaged and are super easy to swallow. I expect these to have strong anti-viral capacity to help fight any cold or flu viruses that may come my way.

This is an awesome oregano supplement. It arrived quickly and well packaged. They’re tiny little shelves capsules and super easy to swallow. You only need one a day. They’re very potent and they’re doing an awesome job with my system! I haven’t noticed any negative side effects.

I have been taking oregano oil for years to boost my immunity. I also have another reason for taking it, which is probably different than most people use it for. Find that it helps loosen up my airways. I struggle with asthma but hate having to use an inhaler. Of course, when I am having an all out asthma attack I have to use it but for those days when my lungs feel a tadgh heavy but it isn't necessary to use an inhaler, I like to take oregano oil because it really helps.

These are probably the most informative supplements I’ve every purchased. The manual it came with gave a detailed description on the use and benefits of Oregano and Mastic Tree Resin which is something I appreciate and don’t get much with other supplements. I struggle with swallowing pills so these softgels are perfect and easy to take. The foiled container that pops out each pill makes it simple for anyone who has hand issues like myself and can sometimes find turning bottle tops difficult. Pretty presentation, very informational, and high quality made for a great introduction to adding Oregano Oil to my daily health routine.

The packaging is great, the individual foil packet keeps the pills separated, and the box includes indications, directions, and ingredients in both Greek and English. I won't go on and on about the health benefits of either Mastic or Oregano, as its fairly easy to research both but I will say they work great together for stomach issues, which was my reason for ordering. I find these pills easy to swallow and so far no adverse reactions of any kind. I recommend to anyone who is exploring herbal remedies and alternative supplements. Great product!

One thing I REALLY appreciate is the company used organic virgin olive oil rather than cheap soybean oil, a very low quality and unhealthy oil that's found in most softgels. These are definitely fresh and smell and taste like good oregano and olive oil. I just removed one star because I can encapsulate straight oregano oil for more potent benefits and for less cost. You don't get much in this little box even though the quality is good.

I ordered this primarily for the Mastic content, as I suffer from stomach pains originating from that nasty H. pylori bug. I've never taken Oregano Essential Oil nor do I think it's essential to my health (I think of oregano only when I eat Italian dishes) but I really wanted the Mastic, as I chew Mastic gum from Greece regularly and it's helped my stomach issues. The ingredients list reveals, however, that mastic comprises only 3% of the total and most of it consists of olive oil binding the two other, more expensive ingredients together. Hmm. Perhaps it should have been called "Olive oil capsules with some oregano and mastic". I like the fact that the gel caps are small and easy to swallow (much better than a fish oil capsule). The insert (printed in Greek on one side and English on the other) was also quite informative and helpful.

Oregano oil, Mastic oil, Greek olive oil in a gelatin capsule. It's a very small capsule in a blister pack, perfect for travel. The combination is excellent for immune health, plus the Mastic is one of my main go-to herbs for any stomach issues, including h. pylori ulcers. It's a reasonable price, and highly recommended. Oregano oil is a good one to take for a period of time, then take a break.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

It is known that aromatic plants have a high concentration of volatile ingredients, giving off a pleasant odor. This odor is due to the flammable oily substances, the essential oils. Many essential oils are used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, soap, waxing, etc. industries.

The essential oil quality depends on the type of herb and the method by which the essential oil is extracted from the herb. The extraction methods of each essential oil vary, but usually, the steam distillation method is applied, which allows the most excellent possible preservation of their properties.

Oregano essential oil is the king of herb oils. It is as if nature decided to bless this plant with plenty of qualities. Maybe that’s why Oregano means “the joy of the mountain.” Now is the joy of human! It has potent antimicrobial (against viruses, bacteria, and parasites), anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antioxidant properties. It is organic, steam distilled, without chemicals, which means completely natural.

Undoubtedly, essential oregano oil is an economical and effective treatment option dealing with antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Still, it can also help reduce antibiotic use and thus reduce the risk of new antibiotic-resistant pathogens.

None of the other mint family species yield an essential oil containing as much Carvacrol as Origanum Vulgare essential oil. Many consider Origanum Vulgare to have the greatest antimicrobial strength of any essential oil.

Carvacrol is a compound of many aromatic plants that are usually used as spices for culinary and therapy/prevention purposes in folk medicine. Carvacrol is a phenolic monoterpenoid with a wide range of bioactivities that are putatively useful for clinical applications such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anticancer activities. Oreganic Plus Mastic’s oregano oil contains above 80% carvacrol.

It is a multitasking essential oil also! It has strong anticancer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, circulatory, repellent, and stomachic properties. In Physis & Ideas lab, our experts have discovered that mastic essential oil interacts great with essential oregano oil because of the well-cooperating phenols that “bring out their best selves together”! Also, Chios mastic is of excellent quality from the best in the world.

Let the numbers speak. One capsule contains 42 mg Oregano oil and 10,5 mg mastic oil. That means that 3 gr (1 tablespoon) of dry Oregano (“origanum Vulgare” variety) and 10 gr of mastic gum are distilled for that proportions. So, it’s not easy to consume such quantities. Furthermore, the oil is more easily assimilated by the body.

Yes, Physis & Ideas lab uses advanced analytical instrumentation, including gas chromatography (GC) and infrared spectrometry (IR), to analyze our oregano oil and verify identity, purity, and safety. Our oils are Non-GMO, Chemical-Free, No Salt, Sugar, Sodium, Soy, Wheat, Dairy. Gluten-Free, Allergen-Free, No Artificial Flavors, Magnesium Stearate, Sweeteners, Colors and Preservatives.

Essential oils are powerful due to their high concentration and must be diluted. Many people that use essential oils make their own mixtures and use their favorite carrier oil (coconut, almond) or just water. In Oreganic Plus Mastic, the carrier oil is extra virgin Greek Olive Oil, the famous Greek Gold liquid with a high nutritional value.

Oreganic Plus Mastic offers the perfect proportion of Oregano, mastic, and olive oil (42 mg oregano oil, 10.5mg mastic oil, 182 mg olive oil) for everyday use.

You shouldn’t take it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic to oregano or mastic, or under drug treatment. If you have low blood iron levels, you should ask your doctor first and taking it only 2 hours before or 2 hours after meals.

The capsule must be shallowed, so the product is not for children that can’t follow shallow instructions. If you chew it, you are going to feel the acidic taste of oregano oil. But no problem. Drink water and eat some bread with cheese. The tense lasts only a few minutes.

High quality is never cheap. When you take your health seriously, you have to choose something good, pure, without side effects and have results. There are many different grades of essential oils on the market. You may check the organic or bio, the carvacrol concentration, carrier oil quality, and package quality. One Oreganic Plus Mastic pack make it easy for you with separate capsules in hygiene pack blister for every day use to cover a whole month.

The evidence shows that the essential oils of Oregano and mastic tree resin are antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic, analgesic, antispasmodic, anti-cancer, antidiabetic, antioxidant, circulatory, repellent, astringent.

All these qualities do not constitute a diagnosis of disease, a prescription of medication, or a guarantee of therapeutic benefit. Independent of the many studies, there are plenty of reviews of people who use pure essential oils of Oregano and mastic for their health and well-being, which offer good evidence of efficiency and safety.

Scientific research about Oregano and Oregano essential oil

There are numerous studies for Oregano Oil and it’s phenol carvacrol as an effort to establish new criteria in dealing with harmful microorganisms.

“Natural drugs could represent an interesting approach to limit the emergence and the spread of these organisms, which currently are difficult to treat (Lambert et al., 2001). The spread of anti-drug resistant strains of microorganisms necessitates the discovery of new classes of antibacterial and compounds that inhibit these resistance mechanisms. Natural products continue to play major role active substances, model molecules for the discovery, and validation of drug targets (Bnyan, et al., 2013)” (https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/234654709.pdf)
